Softballers Recap
Ballers started the season with a 1-2-3 first inning and quickly took a 2-0 lead off a HR by new-comer Sean Bechhoff. Ballers tacked on a few more in inning number 2 to go up by four runs only to see the lead wiped away in the fifth when SWAT got a few clutch hits and took advantage of defensive mishaps in the ballers outfield. Ballers quickly recaptured the lead in the bottom the third and never looked back and shut down SWATs offense the rest of the way. Ballers start the season on the right foot with a victory against an old nemesis and defending champions, SWAT.
Player of the game goes to Ali Arshad as no one batter on Ballers offense particulary stood out. Ali pitched a solid game and did not allow one walk while striking out one. Defense was constantly on its toes and despite struggles in one inning, played an almost flawless game.
